The last municipality of the Lechtal lies at an altitude of 1,122 metres and is a typical village along a road.

Steeg is a perfect holiday destination in the summer and the winter, in particular for people looking for peace and recreation and appreciating the pristine nature of this place.

In the winter perfectly groomed cross-country skiing trails and the Warth/Schröcken ski area, a top resort at the foot of the Arlberg await you. Snowshoe and torchlight hikes as well as tobogganing and ice skating nights complete the programme of your winter holidays. 

In the summer you find a fantastic hiking area with well-signposted trails at the foot of the majestic local mountain of Steeg, Pimig mountain.

Steeg is also to the delight of spa enthusiasts: The newly-renovated Aqua Nova indoor swimming centre invites to relax and unwind. A food shop, a cheese dairy, a bakery, a small butchery and numerous restaurants and cafes improve your physical well-being.

The small hamlet of Hägerau is also part of the municipality of Steeg. The Baroque church built in 1729 and renovated in 1988 is worth a visit.
The villages of Lechleiten and Gehren, also part of the municipality of Steeg, are in immediate proximity to the Warth ski area.
