Lechtal Tourismus - Christoph Moosbrugger

Regiobus

Here in the Lech Valley we attach great importance to public transport. If you spend your vacation in the Lech Valley, you have access to a sophisticated bus system that takes you comfortably from one highlight to the next.

Not only do you save on the already expensive fuel, but you also do the environment a favor.

The Regiobus in summer

In the summer months, on average between mid-May and early October, the Lechtaler Regiobuses run between Lech a. Arlberg and the nature park region Reutte to the side valleys of the Lechtal. So you can cross the Tyrolean Lechtal by public transport and get to know the region comfortably and environmentally conscious.

For those who are well and gladly on the move in the Lech Valley by bike or e-bike, the bike bus is available. Certain lines operate in the valley with a bike trailer, which provides 38 parking spaces for normal, but also e-bikes. All other buses have bike racks at the rear, with 5 parking spaces. It is not necessary to reserve the bike bus (except for groups). The bike transport costs € 5,00 per bike.

For your hiking and mountain tours you can also safely leave your car behind and rather use the public transport of the Lechtal. The Lechtaler Wanderbus takes you just in time to the starting point of your tour and back again. With the Lechtal Aktiv Card, hikers and mountaineers can use the bus between Lech a. Arlberg and Reutte free of charge.

This small card offers further great advantages to make your vacation as varied as possible and holds an unusually wide range of leisure activities in the entire nature park region ready for you.

Without the Lechtal Aktiv Card, the buses can also be used with a EUR 3.00 day ticket. The discounted ticket is available upon presentation of your guest registration at the tourist information offices.

The Regiobus in winter

If you spend your winter vacation in the Lechtal, the Lechtaler Regiobus is also a great and indispensable way for skiers, cross-country skiers and winter hikers to get to the ski slopes on the Arlberg, to the start of your cross-country ski tour or to the starting point of your winter hike. So you not only save the tedious search for a parking space, but you also drive safely and regardless of the weather to your destinations.
