Lechtal Cycle Path Stage 4

Starting point: Bach, village centre (1,062m)

Characteristics:
From the village centre of Bach along the federal road into the valley. At the end of the village the signpost “Holzgau” with brief information leads to the well signposted Lechtal cycle path. On a convenient country lane across the even pastures to Stockach. Briefly along the main traffic road through the village and at the last houses across the Sulzbach bridge and back on the country lane. At the exit of the wild Sulztal valley you ride across the Lechbrücke bridge and then along the river banks.

Then along the asphalt-covered road across the Höhenbach brook. Before Dürnau you cross the Lech river again and in the village you follow the “Steeg” cycle path signposts. A little bit later you cross a bridge again and pass the hamlets of Walchen to get to Hägerau. You cross the Lech once more and ride through the hamlet of Dickenau to the finish of the cycle path in the village of Steeg, where the Kaiserbach brook flows into the Lech.
