Characteristics
From the church in Vorderhornbach towards Martinau. After the Hornbach bridge the signposts for “Häselgehr” lead to the perfectly signposted Lechtal cycle path. On the country lane to Martinau. In March 1903 there was a big fire in the village. Only a s ingle building escaped.
At the foot of the gigantic Klimmspitze summit you ride past a game feeding spot, through the Nussau pasture and to the hamlet of Klimm. There is avalanche danger into spring time along this section. The Lech river narrows down and beyond the valley you can see the Pfeilspitze summit and the rocky reef of the Rotwand.
Along the tar-covered country lane across the wild Wasserfall brook. Fantastic insights into the Blachbs valley with the Hahntennjoch road. Between the Lichtspitze summit and the Dolomitzinnen of the Hornbach mountain range to Häselgehr with its nice façade paintings.
Extension of the tour:
In Klimm to Elmen or MTB-tour on the Hahntennjoch. In Häselgehr on the Lechtal cycle path to Steeg or Gramais.
