SMALL AND EXTREMELY PLEASANT
A relaxing hike leads past the Bernhardstal gorge and through dense forests to the Gibler Alm. A visit of the pasture hut at an altitude of 1,200m is a pleasant experience, in particular for the youngest guests, since there is a generous forest playground in tune with nature. If a toboggan or sledge is used for getting downhill again, then the kids are all smiles. Adult guests hike to the Gibler Alm to put on their snowshoes or touring skis and to enjoy hearty delights after their uphill climb.

Hearty dumplings are among the favourite dishes of the Tiroleans. Since it is difficult to decide between cheese dumplings, Tirolean dumplings and smoked meat dumplings, the Gibler Alm offers a dumpling pan with dumpling variations served on juicy sauerkraut. But make sure to be able to taste the Kaiserschmarren (shredded pancakes with sugar and raisins), another specialty of the hostess. Good to know: The homemade stone-baked pizza is also delicious!
OUR WINTER TIP
Snowshoes are good option for getting to the Gibler Alm. The way down into the valley is great fun on a toboggan!
