Württembergerhaus 2,220m

The oldest hut of the German Alpine Club Section Stuttgart is fantastically located at an altitude of 2,220m. It has been accommodating its guests after a walking time of at least 4 hours with plenty of charm for more than 80 years now.

Getting there:

The Württemberger Haus is a simple mountain hut for mountaineers and hikers, who for example embark on the rewarding but quite difficult Augsburger Höhenweg trail. The villages in the valley are Zams in the Inntal, Madau and Gramais in the Lechtal. From all these villages you can get to the Württemberg Haus, but from all places it takes several hours to get there.

Sleeping places.

12 room bunks, 42 mattress bunks and 10 emergency bunks;
In the winter 4 bunks (no heating, gas cooker)
