Anglers and fishers won’t have to fight against nature like in "The old man and the sea“, the well-known novel by Ernest Hemingway.
Quite the opposite – the Lechtal nature park region is a fantastic area with peaceful spots and banks for fishing enthusiasts. But you can also find interesting rapids, where you can pursue your hobby.
On a length of 60 kilometres, the turquoise-coloured Lech river winds its way from the border to Vorarlberg to the Tirolean Lechtal. The charming landscape of the Lech and the brooks flowing into it have a calming effect. Just seeing the water is enough to tempt any fisher. Relax and enjoy the most beautiful side of the last wild river in Europe. Every single day of fishing in the Tiroler Lech Nature Park is an unforgettable experience.
