Welcome to the

Time out village Pfafflar

Bschlabs, Boden and the summer settlement Pfafflar form the 130-soul community of Pfafflar. The community is situated 1,314 meters above sea level in the rustic Bschlab valley. From Elmen, a well-built panoramic road, which is also passable in winter, leads to Bschlabs, Boden and in summer over the Hahntennjoch to Imst.

Bschlabs is situated on the sunny slope of the Bschlabertal. There, the pilgrimage church "Maria Schnee" welcomes you right at the entrance of the village. Continue on to the small village of Boden. The village lies picturesquely at the end of the Bschlabertal and is considered a central starting point for numerous hikes and mountain tours. The renovated village church "St. Josef" with the oldest organ in the area is also worth seeing.

Mountain village Pfafflar

Idyllic mountain village

You can reach the summer settlement of Pfafflar via the magnificent Hahntennjoch pass road (attention-winter barrier). Pfafflar is considered one of the oldest hilltop settlements in Tyrol. In this idyllic mountain village you will find old wooden houses whose construction dates back to the 13th century. Continuing on this pass road, you will pass Europe's youngest alpine pass, the Hahntennjoch (1,903 m), past the Maldonalm, to Imst.

Activities

In this peace and seclusion, ski tours and snowshoe hikes are best enjoyed. In summer, the Path of the Senses in the Hölltal Gorge of the Streimbach invites you to relax. At Hahntennjoch there is a climbing garden with over 35 routes. In addition, several summit tours start from Pfafflar, among others to the Muttekopf (2,774m) and the Reichspitze (2,590m).

Besides the road, two recommendable hiking trails connect the villages of Bschlabs and Boden. For example, you can find yourself again on the "Weg der Stille" and get to Boden on foot. You can then return to your starting point in Bschlabs along the Bschlaber Höhenweg.

Path of the Senses & Place of Silence

Art and nature for the senses. "The Path of the Senses" leads you through the romantic Hölltal Gorge and is like an art exhibition in nature. On the approximately eight-kilometer-long hiking trail, local artists exhibit their own texts and sculptures as well as Bible verses and depictions of local traditions.

Other highlight in Pfafflar

If you are looking for space, freedom and seclusion in the alpine region, Pfafflar is definitely the place to be. Numerous cozy accommodations and a nice inn offer you everything you need for your vacation in Pfafflar.
