Time out village Hinterhornbach
Simply take a deep breath. Pure nature and excellent gastronomy characterize Hinterhornbach. Countless hiking trails stretch from here through the Hornbach chain and the Allgäu Alps. The village is located at 1,100 meters and promises pleasant temperatures in summer and guaranteed snow on the cross-country ski trails in winter.
The Hornbach has created a natural and very wide riverbed in the side valley. It flows over 17 kilometers from its source to the Lech. The first thing you hear in the time-out village of Hinterhornbach is nature. The road ends at the parking lot in front of the Jochbach bridge.
In winter you can strap on your cross-country skis and explore the more than ten kilometer long network of cross-country ski trails with its magnificent viewpoints. Likewise, the numerous winter hiking trails offer the most beautiful hikes in untouched nature.
In summer, hikers shoulder their backpacks there to climb the Urbeleskar or Bretterspitze peaks of the Hornbach range or the Hochvogel and its smaller neighbors in the Allgäu Alps.
