Refuges and alpine club huts

The Lechtal shelters and alpine club huts are true refuges in the midst of the mountains. They are perched on craggy rock faces and steep mountain slopes, predominantly in the alpine high mountains of the Allgäu and Lechtal Alps. Via the Lechtaler long-distance hiking trails, such as the Lechtaler Höhenweg, the Heilbronner Höhenweg or the E5, numerous huts are also connected with each other. Most of the Lechtal refuges are accessible for multi-day hikers but also in a day hike and offer above all shelter from bad weather, overnight accommodation and hearty hut food for hungry hikers and climbers. Anyone who has ever been a guest at a refuge knows that the stop and also the overnight stay is a unique mountain experience that simply belongs to a mountain tour.
