The holiday village of Forchach lies on an altitude of 910m at the entrance of the Lechtal valley. The little village lies peacefully at the mouth of the Schwarzwassertal valley at the right bank of the Lech river. The Lech floodplains in Forchach turn out to be a true gem.
On a hike along the Lech river near Forchach you shouldn’t miss out on crossing the suspension bridge dating back to 1906.
The view of the local Lech landscape is simply breath-taking. In the winter 15 kilometres of groomed tracks and an ice rink incl. Bavarian curling alley provide some relaxation. The village of Forchach is only 14 kilometres from the town of Reutte.
