AUTHENTIC Tirol

The Tiroler Lechtal nature park region features some worthwhile treasures, which you should not miss out on during your summer or winter holidays. Well-preserved small chapels in the villages and churches featuring beautiful painting. Precious façade paintings, the so-called “Lüftlmalerei”, can be admired on many old houses. To understand the traditions and the life in earlier times, we recommend visiting the Wunderkammer museum. 

A special landmark is the Holzgau suspension bridge – Austria’s longest and highest foot suspension bridge, which can be crossed free of charge and a section of the popular Lechweg trail.
