Ski tour Bernhardseck Mutte

The ski tour on the Mutte is a nice taster tour with a cozy and sociable stop at the Bernhardseck hut. The tour starts in Elbigenalp at 1,038 m. You ascend without difficulty along the road in the direction of Gibler Alm and from there follow the signposted path to the Bernhardseck Hut (1,812 m). From here you can hike along the ridge in an easterly direction to the Mutte (2,187 m). The view of the western part of the Hornbach chain to the north and of the Lechtal Alps is spectacular. The descent follows the ascent path, some short variants are possible.
