Mountain tour to the Holzgauer Wetterspitze

The Holzgauer Wetterspitze is with 2.895 m the sixth highest peak of the Lechtaler Alps. There are several ways to get to the Holzgauer Wetterspitze. We present the approach through the Sulzltal valley, past the Sulzlalm - 1,466 m - and the Frederick Simms Hut - 2,084 m. The tour requires in some exposed places just before the summit II UIAA grade. It should not be underestimated, especially because of its length. The approach through the Sulzltal can be shortened by bike.
