Mountain tour Marchspitz crossing

The traverse of the Marchspitze, which at 2,609 meters is the third highest peak in the Hornbach chain after the Großer Krottenkopf (2,656 m) and the Urbelskarspitze (2,632 m), is one of the highlights in the Allgäu Alps, both in terms of scenery and mountaineering. The tour is best approached from the Hermann von Barth hut, alternatively the approaches through the Bernhardstal or through the Höhenbachtal are possible.
