Hikes to mountain lakes

The mountains of the Allgäu and Lechtal Alps are majestic and the mountain lakes, which are located in the middle of these mountains, are the crown jewels of the Lechtal. Like shining gems in turquoise, green, blue or even black, they usually hide in the high mountains and attract numerous hikers during the summer months.

About 20 crystal clear mountain lakes are located in the Lechtal mountains. The best known and most beautiful are, for example, the Sebensee, the Roßkarsee or also the Siegelsee. They are all worthwhile hiking destinations and are also wonderfully suitable for refreshment on hot summer days.
