The small mountain village Madau is located in the middle of the Lechtal Alps and actually already belongs to the municipality of Zams. Surrounded by majestic mountains like the Parseierspitze and the Freispitze, Madau is a popular starting point for hikes and hut tours.

The Madauer Höhenweg leads from Bach to Madau and offers spectacular views of the surrounding area. However, the trail requires surefootedness and is only suitable for experienced hikers.

"Der Einsam Wirt" or also the mountain inn Hermine invites you to stop for a break and also offers overnight accommodations for hikers and mountaineers. The regular cab of the company Feuerstein ensures a hiking transport between Bach and Madau in the summer months.
