The Berghaus Pfafflar is the ideal base camp for ski touring and snowshoe groups. Access in winter is only on foot – either via the 2 km long toboggan run from Hahntennjoch or with skis or snowshoes via an exceptionally beautiful ascent of about 1 hour.
The breathtaking location is perfect for beginner tours towards Hahntennjoch as well as for challenging summit destinations in Fundaistal, Angerletal, or Plötzigtal. This offer is also aimed at guests who are primarily looking for peace, relaxation, and a break from everyday life. In this case, you can enjoy the beauty of the access path, the tranquility on site, or small snowshoe hikes in the area – and perhaps round off your stay with a wonderful toboggan run down into the valley.
Luggage transport is done independently in your backpack, and as in a mountain hut, we kindly ask you to bring your own sleeping bag.
Conditions
The Berghaus Pfafflar is primarily rented as a whole house for up to 10 people. For smaller groups of up to 5 people, only one floor can be booked – contact us for a quote. The prices on this page always apply to the entire house.

Arrival
The access to the hamlet of Pfafflar is via the Hahntennjochstraße. In summer, access is possible from both the Lech Valley (turning at Elmen) and the Inn Valley (access at Imst). The last 500 m to the house must be covered on a gravel road suitable for motor vehicles.
In winter, access is only possible from the Lech Valley up to the junction Hahtennjoch-Boden, as the mountain pass road is closed. From there, it takes about 1 hour on foot to reach a toboggan run (elevation difference of 200 m).
