The access to the hamlet of Pfafflar is via the Hahntennjochstraße. Access is possible in summer from both the Lech Valley (turnoff at Elmen) and the Inn Valley (entry at Imst). The last 500 m to the house are on a gravel road suitable for motor vehicles.
In winter, access is only possible via the Lech Valley up to the turnoff for Hahtennjoch-Boden, as the mountain pass road is closed. From there, it takes about 1 hour on foot to a toboggan run (elevation difference of 200 m).
