The toboggan runs of the Lech Valley are the ideal place to go “wild” and have fun.
Tobogganing is fun.
No doubt about that! In the past this "fun object" on two runners was a real "workhorse". During the winter the hay was brought with big toboggans, the so called "Horner", from the mountain downhill to the valley.
Nowadays “horn“ toboggans are only used for particular races – on that occasion the struggle for the first place is extremely entertaining. The only equipment is the toboggan. These races are a convivial occasion for coming together…and good mood is guaranteed!
The Lech Valley has a total of eight toboggan runs. They are ideal for the whole family and on some days floodlit at night. Sometimes mountain transportation is provided.
