Pure fun for the young and the young at heart: the comfortable Jöchelspitze double chair lift takes you to the mountain station at 1,800 m above the sea level. Enjoy the breathtaking 360° panorama of the valley. You can also choose to walk along one of the numerous excursion paths which are accessible from this departure point. We wish you lots of fun!
The most beautiful excursion route in the Allgäu Alps begins at the Jöchelspitze mountain station (1800 m) and takes approx. 3 hours. It leads you to the Lachenkopf and the Lech Valley Panorama Path (the name was not given by accident), to the Bernhardseck-Hütte (alpine cottage) and through the Alpenrose steep track in approx. 2 hours back to the starting point (here there is also the possibility to walk downhill through the Gibler Alm, the Kasermandel to Elbigenalp or through Klapf directly to the parking facilities of the Lech Valley cableway).
Following alpine cottages are accessible from the mountain station:
Roßgumpenalm, Cafe Uta, Kemptner and Hermann von Barth-Hütte - the last two are insiders’ tip – not very frequented but absolutely beautiful excursion route in a very impressive landscape scenery.
