Creative Holiday Drawing, modelling, wood-carving, sawing, rasping, wood-lathing and painting... Are you between 10 and 14 years of age and looking for an exciting programme for your summer holidays? Well then, why not come to the creative-adventure camp in Elbigenalp?

Elbigenalp Creative Adventure Camp– Lech Valley
In the summer you can learn the basic fundamentals of sculpture. Experienced and youthful camp-guides show you how to use the tools properly and help you to turn your ideas into reality. In doing so, you will also learn what treasures nature holds for creative people. Curled branches and knarled roots simply inspire us to fashion creative forms and the ancient landscape of the Lech Valley readily transforms itself into an artistic environment. In your creative efforts you do not need to restrict yourself to wood. Clay, soapstone, materials and all kinds of colours can be used to the create the desired effects.
In our adventure camps you do not only have the chance to give a free rein to your creativity, but you can also enjoy a whole lot of action with other kids. There are no strict rules but you can choose in line with your interests what works of art you would like to produce. Whether it be masks, sculptures, totems, animals, phantasy figures, amulets or collages - everything is possible! Your parents and friends at home will be amazed when you go home with "megacool" creations. In this way you will have lasting reminders of your time in Elbigenalp and perhaps also an unusual and very personal present for special occasions.
In the adventure camps a great deal of emphasis is laid on teamwork. You are accommodated in your own tent city, you make your own breakfast together and see out the days in the mysterious shimmer of the camp fire. As well as your own individual work, you can also leave your mark on the Lech Valley in group projects.
Provision is also made, of course, for a change from the creative work. With various outdoor and indoor games, any amount of sport, cooking on the camp fire, torchlight and riverside hikes, trekking tours (maybe with a night spent in a mountain chalet) and excursions, the time just flies past. And finally, there is always the swimming pool to cool off! Your guides make sure there is a very active programme. You will see that at the Geisler-Moroder Adventure Camp you have no chance to be bored. Internet: http://www.schnitzschule.com |
